Had a great time. Staff was very knowledgeable and knew exactly where to take us to get the best sightings. Saw my first whale breach, which was amazing. And even when my shorts got snagged and tore a little on one of the metal benches. The staff was very accommodating and captain Dave was even kind enough to give me a T-shirt when we arrived back at the marina.
Would definitely do it again. 😎
Incredible experience watching hundreds of dolphins jumping just feet from the boat. The crew gave us an additional hour and a half because we didn’t see a humpback whale until the very end of the original 4 hour cruise. A word for the wise, this is a boat ride into the open ocean, if you easily get sea sick, you might want to stick to the aquarium.
Beautiful, calm day for a harbor cruise. Didn't see any whales so they gave everyone free passes to come back another day. Nice boat, plenty of room to move around. I will definitely come back and try again!
Great experience with very knowledgeable staff and the captain. We got to see humpback whales, sea lions, dolphins and seals. We were lucky enough to witness a whale breach as well. The facility has two washroom and sells snacks and drinks.
I just had the most amazing, wonderful experience during this boat ride in Santa Barbara. We saw 🐋 whales, dolphins, seals, such a moving experience to admire these beautiful creatures!

Saw several humpback mother/calf whales, lots of dolphins, seals, and sea lions. The captain does a great job spreading views between port and starboard. Excellent volunteers and staff. Friendly, happy customers. Exciting, amazing experience especially when schools of dolphins swam in front of our bow!
I'm glad I packed snacks and water, though you can buy regular concession food and beer.
4.5 Hour cruise off the Santa Barbara coast. My wife and I have taken this cruise on three separate occasions. For us, it's always been a relaxing, wonderful time. Never overbooked and the crew and staff are always helpful and friendly. Full service cafe/bar is onboard with sandwiches, chips and beverages. The marine life is always spectacular. From the seals and sea lions to the hundreds of dolphins, to the pelicans and Western gulls, this cruise has never disappointed. Of course, the whales are truly exciting. On one cruise, we followed a humpback whale that breached every 3-4 minutes over a 30-45 minute period. Truly awesome adventure.
Phenomenal experience. Bucket list type of stuff. Humpback season is spring to early winter. Still saw a few sightings early winter. Staff was great,friendly. Volunteers were informative. Saw literally thousands of dolphins. Insane, incredible experience I can't put into words! All those ripples are dolphins. They played by the boat for a solid thirty minutes. N woulda been worth it even if there were no whales but the whales are worth seeing too
